Honey Peanut Butter

Three simple ingredients is all you need to make this delicious, all natural and kid approved Honey Peanut Butter.  For me, I don't like to buy anything at a grocery store that has a paragraph of ingredients, ingredients that I can't pronounce, high fructose corn syrup and chemical preservatives.   Ingredients for some store bought peanut butter, yikes.     Items that you will need *Roasted & Salted Cocktail Peanuts *Honey *Oil *Food Processor or Blender *Baster or Medicine Dropper Roasted and salted cocktail peanuts, sometimes they are called party peanuts, gives it the roasted and salty flavor that you are used to from the store bought.  Make sure to check that it only has peanuts, oil and salt. No other spices or sugar. Dried Roasted Peanuts sometimes has these ingredients   Cocktails Peanuts or Party Peanuts Local honey may cost a little bit more than the honey in the little bear but if you have seasonal allergy it may help

Fiesta Spice Mix

Perks of making Fiesta Spice Mix at home: *Know what you are putting in there *Can customize with less Salt, more or less spice like Cayenne Pepper or Chipotle Pepper *Real ingredients, nothing fake *Make huge batch enough for multiple dishes, (tacos, chili, burgers, enchiladas, tamales, chicken and pork) *No preservatives *Gluten-Free, some spice mixes have flour in them for a thickener      I personal have been making my own fiesta spice mix for years and can make a 6oz or more batch that last me for months.  Use it for decoration, it looks like the sand art that I did as a child in the 90's.   This can easily be doubled or halved or quartered.  The follow recipe is the spices you need and can add or subtract the spices.  Recipe Base is Dark Chili Powder Onion Powder Garlic Powder Paprika or Smoked Paprika (Smoked gives it a smoky and better flavor) Celery Salt Cumin Chipotle Pepper (optional) Cayenn

Homemade Vanilla Extract

Making vanilla extract at home is super easy and so much better than the stuff that you get at the store. Plus you can make so much more than the store bought extract. Normally store bought extract is around $4 for only 1 ounce of Vanilla Extract and is watered down. Sometimes they even put corn syrup it.  Even if you find vanilla extract that is all natural or organic you spend $10 or more for a small amount as well. Homemade is 100% pure with only two ingredients in it. This has been sitting for a couple of months. Only need three items to make it. Two of them are easy to find at any grocery store, a mason jar and rum or any clear alc o hol . Vanilla Beans can be found on Amazon . No need to spend a lot of money on Grade A vanilla beans those are for using in baking and using in to make vanilla ice cream or s yrups .  Grade B cost less to buy in bulk and are perfect for using in extracts or  steeping in tea or coffee .
